Getting to the cottage

By car

  • From Beaune: 8 km on the RD 974 towards Chalon-sur-Saône, about fifteen minutes. (The village is only 7 km away as the crow flies, which is the figure some directories quote.)
  • From Chalon-sur-Saône (25 km): take the RD 906 towards Chagny and Paris, then at Chagny follow Beaune on the RD 974.
  • On the A6 motorway coming from the north: exit at Beaune centre-ville / Hospices de Beaune, then the RD 974 towards Chalon-sur-Saône.
  • On the A6 motorway coming from the south: exit at Chalon nord, head for Beaune on the RD 906, then the RD 974 at Chagny.

By train

  • Meursault station, 2 km from the village, served by TER trains on the Dijon – Mâcon line.
  • Beaune station, 8 km away, served by mainline trains on Dijon – Lyon, Beaune – Paris and Strasbourg – Nice.
  • TER tickets are sold at the Meursault tourism office, 9 place de l’Hôtel de Ville (03 80 21 25 90).

By bus

  • The “Beaune, Côte et Sud” district network, route 20 towards Nolay and Chagny.
  • Departs from Beaune railway station and the town-centre stops.

  • Dijon-Bourgogne airport, at Longvic, 50 km from Meursault.
